Trip to Ipoh

Hello!
I shall stop my HIMYM marathon(I’m at Season 2 Episode 1 btw. Haha I just got all 6 seasons of it from Carmen yesterday and I already finished one whole season yesterday night :p) to blog about this trip or I’ll never do it.

This trip was like more than a month ago tskkk. I just realized I always blog about something that happened one month ago. Phailed blogger!

Uncle Phun suggested that we should all go to Kampar to surprise the two fellas; Kah Yung & Xue Feng that are studying there and hang around at Ipoh.

Initially we didn’t have enough cars. It’s either people aren’t willing to drive or their parents don’t allow them to –.- I didn’t want to ask my dad if I could use the car to drive all the way up to Ipoh but my mum gave me the courage to ha4(ha4 = hahahaha! lol). And surprisingly Daddy allowed me to. O_____________O So I quickly tell the rest that I can drive.

As usual, we met up at the Petronas in front of Wilfred’s place and AS USUAL Wilfred was the latest. So we ended up waiting in front of his house tsk tsk. Be punctual please!

Before starting our journey, we went to some pasar pagi for breakfast.

Here is… ROUND 1: Breakfast at Pasar.

We saw a really fat cat lying down at the corner of the restaurant.

“Eh lei dei tai go gor fei mao!” (Eh look at that fat cat!)
Then CF did the ‘Fei Mao’ gesture – moving his shoulders up and down.

Wilfred was like “Fei meh? Tao dai je ma!” (Fat meh? The head is big only what!)

"ohhh so you have a big head?”
Get the joke? LOLOL.

After nomming, we started off our journey woots!

#4 Hello! I iz the driver of the trip. LOL.

#5 CF & Wilfred were my passengers. The rest were at Phun’s.
It’s my first time driving such a long distance. *clap clap* Everyone reached safely in my hands lol.

#6 That’s obviously not me in the driver seat. Such a poser tskkkk.

It took us about one and a half hours to reach Kampar. The first thing we had to do was to find where the 2 Kampar fellas are staying. Yeah we went there without finding out where their house location was. We called up Kah Sing(Kah Yung’s brother) for help but damnnn.. useless kid lol.

#7 We stopped at one corner cause we don’t know where is the house.

In the end we managed to find Kah Yung’s housemate and found the place. (:

#9 The place was surprisingly big(3 storeys!) but quite smelly. Especially the 3rd floor tskkk. Smells like Xue Feng(rubbish :p)

#11 The housing area are all students at UTAR and almost everyone owns a bicycle there. O____O It’s been so long since I cycled.

When we reached their place, both Kah Yung & Xue Feng were having their nap –.- Wilfred called a few times but they didn’t pick up. After countless times, Kah Yung finally did.

I think the phone convo is something like this;

Wilfred: Eh let’s go yum cha!
Kah Yung: HUH? I’m at Kampar now la!
Wilfred: come laaaa! (we were walking up the stairs by now and Kah Yung heard the echo of Wilfred’s voice)

Kyung was already suspicious so he came out and saw us lolol.
Xue Feng was still sleeping in the room. So they sneaked in.

Xue Feng is the one on the left. The one on the right(in white) is Kah Yung. Look at XF. He is wearing the SBS sports shirt to sleep. Ha4 I wear all my high school shirt at home :p

The two fellas need to take their bath before we head to Ipoh. So while waiting they went to some garden nearby with their bicycles. The weather was sooo freaking hot and they went out –.-

#14 I stayed in the room singing ‘Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing On Rainbows’ (go YouTube and look for that song and you’ll know what I’m talking about lol)wtf.

We went to this random restaurant at the corner for lunch.

Here comes the food! Yums.

#19 The quality of the photo makes the food looks 10x delicious. Sighhhhh I want a DSLR.

#20 This egg tarts are damnnnnn awesome. Better than Tong Kee. Ok maybe it’s because I was damn hungry that time and the egg tarts were still sizzling hot.

#21 You cannot NOT order Ipoh Kai Si Hor Fun at Ipoh right? (Y)

#22 The price of one cup of white coffee there makes me feel like being conned when I order one at Old Town back in KL.

#23 ZMei was feeding me LOLOL. Look at CF tskkk. He was holding the Rubik’s cube the entire trip.
Somehow my hands look like it belongs to an old lady in the picture. O____O

#25 We went around looking for dessert after that. That was a damn long walk tskkkk.

ROUND 3: Tau Fu Fa for dessert.

#27 *Burppppp* Okay I don’t burp in real life. No I’m not trying to act si man. I can’t burp. I do if I drink carbonated drinks especially Coke.

I was so bloated by then I felt like throwing up. –.-
But they still wanted to go for another round. O_________________O No wonder we are called PHG(Pig Head Gang wtf I know it sounds lame. I feel lame even by typing it)

ROUND 4: Taugeh Chicken. (Round 2, 3 & 4 was continuous blehhhh!)


#28 I think I only ate like 3 taugeh ha4 wtf. After I giap 3 taugeh onto my plate, I went to the toilet straight trying to throw up but phailed. Then I came back with an almost empty plate in the middle. Haihhh this guys eat so fast.

Then we went separate ways cause some of them wanted to buy biscuits home. I went to buy Yim Guk Gai(Salted Chicken) with Sze Mei & Wilfred.

After buying our stuffs, Phun wanted to go visit his grandma in Ipoh.

[I stopped writing this and went to watch another 2 episodes of HIMYM hehe]

It was about 4ish almost 5pm that time and they wanted to go to the Perak Cave.

#32 The place was closed when we were there. So yeah we just hanged around outside, took a few pictures.

We drove back to Kampar but we lost our way tskkkk. Those two hopeless kid(Kyung & XF) said they know the way back. There was once we reached a roundabout and they can’t decide on which road to take and I turned the roundabout for 4-5 times. @______________@ In the end we had to ask someone for directions to get back.

Now its ROUND 5: DINNER!

Overall the trip was fun. Hah I was too tired to drive back to KL. So CF took over the driver seat.
